Visa
Information
AOHUPO/APS 2027 welcomes delegates from across the world. If you are travelling to Australia from overseas, you will need to ensure you have the appropriate visa in place before departing your home country.
Please Note
The AOHUPO/APS 2027 Organising Committee and ASN Events are not visa agents and are unable to provide immigration advice.
For all visa enquiries, please contact the Australian Department of Home Affairs directly.
Common Visa Options
for Conference Delegates
The following visa types are commonly used by conference attendees, speakers, and exhibitors. Eligibility depends on your passport country β please check the Department of Home Affairs website to confirm which visa applies to you.
Electronic Travel Authority
ETA (Subclass 601)
A quick, low-cost electronic visa available to passport holders from eligible countries (including most European nations, the US, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong SAR, Malaysia, Taiwan, and others). Apply online.
eVisitor (Subclass 651)
Free to apply and available online for eligible European passport holders attending events, conferences, or conducting short-term business.
Visitor Visa
Business Stream (Subclass 600)
For delegates from countries not covered by the ETA or eVisitor, or for those planning an extended stay β including passport holders from India and China. A stronger supporting documentation package is recommended for this visa type.
β Check eligibility and apply
When applying for the Subclass 600, it helps to include:
Evidence of prior international travel (copies of passport stamps and visas)
Confirmation of registration and payment for AOHUPO/APS 2027
Evidence of attendance at similar conferences in the past
Visa Support Letter
(Letter of Attendance)
A visa support letter can be provided to assist with your application. This is not an invitation letter issued directly by the organisers β it is a letter generated through your registration dashboard confirming your conference registration.
